The Family Fund is a way for you, as a parent or family member, to actively participate in the education of your student. By contributing to the Family Fund you will support programs designed to assist in your student's learning, allowing he/she to explore career possibilities, organizations for service and leadership opportunities.
Some of the programs supported by the Family Fund include:
- GatorNights - An award winning, nationally recognized on-campus late night alternative for students. Every Friday night, students can enjoy activities such as rock climbing, arts and craft, and free not yet released movies at the Reitz Union. There is also free food, including a midnight breakfast.
- Career Resource Center - One of the largest and busiest in the US serving more than 130,000 visitors each year. The CRC provides students with career development and guidance support. The center also brings nearly 1,000 recruiters to campus as part of the career fair and arranges about 10,000 employment interviews for students on campus.
- Florida Alternative Breaks - This program is an opportunity for students to participate in community service projects both locally and regionally during their Spring Break. Students work on projects such as animal refuge, hurricane disaster relief and environmental preservation.
