U. F. students are invited to apply for membership on the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee (1 position available). The appointment is for the 2009-2010 academic year.
The I.A.C. is the faculty-student committee which recommends academic policies concerning athletics.
Student applicants should be enrolled on a full time basis in a degree program, be in good academic standing, and have a record of leadership and involvement in the U.F. community.
Applications are available on line at http://www.ufsa.ufl.edu. They also may be picked up in the Vice President for Student Affairs Office, 155 Tigert Hall; Dean of Students Office, P202 Peabody; the Information Desk in the J. Wayne Reitz Union; and Student Activities in Room 300 of the Reitz Union. The applications must be returned to the Student Affairs Office, 155 Tigert Hall by June 26, 2009. The selection will be recommended by the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Faculty Representative to the N.C.A.A., the U.F. Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, and the Student Body President. The final appointment decision will be made by the President of the University.
Graduate Assistant Positions in Student Affairs
The Division of Student Affairs provides assistantship opportunities each year which offer competitive stipends to graduate assistants with some positions also providing tuition waivers. Responsibilities ranges from managing residence halls to advising student organization.
