Graduate Assistantship – Program Evaluation/Assessment
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in statistics, math, education, or a related field is preferred; currently enrolled in a graduate program in Research and Evaluation Methodology, Statistics, Educational Administration & Policy or a related field; proficiency with Microsoft Office; proficiency with SPSS or SAS; demonstrated communication, organizational and leadership skills; commitment to customer service and effective interpersonal communication skill.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated assessment plan for the JW Reitz Union for programs and services currently provided.
- Conduct analysis using SPSS or SAS.
- Develop and implement an annual report with assessment data.
- Serve on University committees as requested

Graduate Assistantship within The J. Wayne Reitz Union in Marketing/Journalism
The J. Wayne Reitz Union, Division of Student Affairs and the University of Florida is looking for a graduate assistant with a degree in journalism, business, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Journalism, Marketing, Business, Public Relations or a related field; proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-development software; demonstrated communication, organizational and leadership skills; commitment to customer service and effective interpersonal communication skills experience with graphic design, web design, editing and producing marketing tools is recommended.
The job responsibility includes:
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing program for the JW Reitz Union to support programs and services currently provided.
- Identify and developing relationships with the media.
- Monitor the JWRU’s web site.
- Develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Represent the JWRU at University functions, including orientation programs and information fairs.
- Serve on University committees as requested.
