Student Legal Services has Moved

Student Legal Services has moved to 215 Walker Hall (next to Grinter Hall) during the Reitz Union renovation and expansion project.  Funded by Student Government through Activities and Service fees, Student Legal Services is essentially a pre-paid legal service for full time UF students.   Student Legal Services is staffed by four licensed attorneys who are available to offer students assistance in understanding and solving their legal problems.  They also provide notary services and can assist… Read More »

The Disability Resource Center

The Disability Resource Center provides services to students with physical, learning, sensory or psychological disabilities. Specifically, the Disability Resource Center:

  • Facilitates academic accommodations
  • Offers support services, such as 1:1 strategy sessions, support groups, and assistive technology
  • Educates students about their rights as individuals with disabilities and helps foster self-advocacy skills

This Wednesday, March 19 is First Gen Pride Day at UF, sponsored by the First Generation Student Organization. Stop by the Plaza of the Americas between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a slice if cake, an I’m First button, and an I’m First t-shirt (first-come, first-served). Weekend Warrior: Cross Training for Runners

Cross training is crucial to running strong and healthy. This one-hour active workshop will teach you the best way to maximize your time in the gym and on the road so that you can cross the finish line year round. Learn how to strengthen key muscle groups for injury prevention, increase power for speed and utilize other cardio workouts in order to run your next personal record. The workshop will be on Saturday, March 22, 1-2 p.m. at Southwest Recreation Center.
