Sustainability
The Division of Student Affairs seeks to support the University of Florida’s goals towards sustainability, and has created a division-wide committee to organize and support sustainability goals. Chaired by Norb Dunkel, this committee supports various activities in all the departments regarding sustainability.

Global Initiatives
The Division of Student Affairs’ mission is to provide opportunities for student engagement, learning and discovery in a diverse environment that will optimize their university experience and prepare them to serve a global community. Common Reading Program
This summer at Preview, all 6600 first-year students will receive their copy of the latest Common Reader book. The 2008-09 book is When the Rivers Run Dry: Water – The Defining Crisis of the Twenty-First Century by Fred Pearce. Calendar of Religious Holidays for 2008-2009 Academic Year Posted
Multicultural Affairs has compiled a list of religious holidays that students may observe throughout the course of the school year. Faculty and Staff may find this helpful in determining which absences to excuse and in making appropriate arrangements for students who observe these holidays. Community Outreach
