William G. Cross Award for Outstanding Leadership
Awarded to a student who demonstrates leadership to UF through outstanding performance as a club or organization officer; shows evidence of efficiency, creativity, and effectiveness in the execution of duties; demonstrates academic excellence; and has a minimum of a 2.5 overall GPA.
Matthews Society
Named in Billy Matthews’ memory, the Matthews Society is an elite group of students recognized for their dedication to ethical leadership and service to UF. Members of the Matthews Society are mentors to student groups on campus, sharing their leadership experiences and discussing effective leadership techniques. The society’s members are also available as speakers and workshop presenters, providing the voice of experience to aid student groups and student leaders with the challenges of University student involvement.
Outstanding Greek Man & Woman of the Year
Awarded to honor a member of the Greek community who has dedicated him or herself to improve the quality of student life at UF as demonstrated by leadership and involvement on campus.
