To be considered for a fellowship, an applicant must be a full-time administrative staff member in the Division of Student Affairs who has completed a minimum of 2 years of full time employment at UF. Two fellowships will be granted annually in support of advanced training and/or enhanced professional development. Recipients will be expected to use the information and skills gathered to provide workshops, colloquia, or presentations to UF staff and students in the year following the experience. The Fellowship award must be used for professional development during between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.
Return the following to the VP for Student Affairs Office by 4:30 p.m. on June 30, 2008:
- Completed application including typed, double-spaced responses to #1 and #2 below.
- Letter of support from applicant’s supervising director of a Student Affairs department.
- Updated resume.
- Support materials. (Such as registration materials describing the advanced training and/or enhanced professional development, brochures, applications, travel itineraries, etc.)
