The overall coordination of the Staff and Faculty Superior Accomplishment Awards Program is handled by the University’s Superior Accomplishment Awards Committee, which is appointed by the President of the University of Florida.

Staff and Faculty Superior Accomplishment Awards are granted at the end of each Spring Semester for the period covering the previous academic year.

Seven divisional awards are presented each year. These divisional award recipients are then eligible to win at the University level. The University selection committee selects one individual for each category to be the University “Employee of the Year.”
