Game Day Task Force

Gators Set the Standard - Don't be a sloppy Gator

The Game Day Task Force is again asking for the assistance of UF Alumni to be role models for UF students on Game Days. The University of Florida, UF Alumni Association, University Athletic Association and the City of Gainesville are working together to promote an exciting, safe game-day environment.

Alumni and other fans attending games are reminded promote public safety by obeying alcohol laws - including open container laws - on game days. As you plan your weekend fun, please remember, it is unlawful to give or buy alcohol for a person under the age of 21, to make or use a fake ID and to carry an open alcohol container on the streets, sidewalk or in a parking lot. Football Saturdays are no exceptions to state or local alcohol laws or ordinances.

Game Day is Almost Here

Remember that being a Gator means showing pride and having respect for others on game day. While most fans act responsibly, a small minority makes poor decisions, which may affect their health or academic goals. Football Saturdays are no exceptions to state laws or campus alcohol policies, including carrying an open alcohol container on the streets, sidewalk, or parking lot.

The University Athletic Association has developed a Gator Fan's Code of Conduct... check it out at http://www.gatorzone.com/codeofconduct/.

Thank you for your cooperation and Go Gators!
