The TRT provides services to the university community in the following manners.
- On Site visits
- Visits to Hospitals for victim and family support
- Consultation with Faculty and Staff
- Planning and assisting with Memorial Services
- Meeting with classes impacted by loss of a classmate
- Meeting with Roommates
- Visiting living units (including Fraternities and Sororities)
- Crisis Intervention on site
- Staff Development Workshops
- Publications on Emergency Issues
- Assistance with academic deadlines and notification to faculty

- Accidental death of a University Police Officer

- Suicide attempts within Residence Halls
- Death from alcohol toxicity

- Homicide of student off campus
- Student abduction and sexual assault
- Killing of professor during robbery

- Illegal entry with a weapon into a residence hall.
