Ms. Kim Pace is the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Florida.  She is responsible for budget, assessment, publications, information technology, professional development, strategic planning, and the student leadership program Reitz Scholars.

Ms. Pace came to the University of Florida in 1989 and worked in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office.  She moved to the Provost’s Office in 2000 and became Assistant Provost in 2010 and Director of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs in 2011.  Her experience in academic affairs has prepared her for continued collaboration between both Student Affairs and Academic Affairs. 

Over the years, she has worked with the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars (MFOS) program as both a First Year Florida MFOS section instructor, served on the MFOS Advisory Committee, and helped as a small group facilitator at several MFOS Academy of Leadership retreats.  She is a founding member and officer of the UF Asian Faculty and Staff Association and provides assistance on the advisory council of the UF Asian Pacific Islander American Affairs office.

Ms. Pace earned a J.D. from the University of San Francisco and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington.  In 2013, she was honored with the Mort Wolfson Faculty Service Award for the Division of Student Affairs.
